Chama Suzuki e-Sky and is the future affordable small electric car of the Japanese manufacturer. This Monday (24 August) were known new information before the presentation scheduled for autumn.
Of what we already know, there will be features such as fast charging and V2L functionality (vehicle-to-load), to power small external devices with the car battery.
The competitor of models such as the Renault Twingo E-Tech has a design that quickly makes sense of its compact dimensions and a relatively rectangular shape – although it does not have the angular lines to dominate the design. The images, available on dedicated website, reveal a very in-line model with the prototype revealed last year.
This is the first information available. The technical specifications of the vehicle are unknown for the time being. Nor is it known what type of battery or autonomy it will have, but this is a kei car and, in Japan, the type of car is limited to 64 hp.
The prototype was 3,395 mm long, 1,475 mm long and 1,625 mm high. The Japanese station NHK informs Suzuki of a model with 310 km of autonomy.
When are you coming?
Right now, there is still no official date for Suzuki e-Sky to reach Europe, but the release in Japan is scheduled for autumn this year – i.e. between September and December. According to publications such as Auto Express, entry into Europe is expected for 2027.
