In addition to mandatory rules, on-board hosts present to Travel and Leisure a top three of the passengers' behaviors, usually most detested by the crew during a flight.

Make sure you make some of these mistakes!

Top 5 of rough behaviors of those travelling by plane

1. music or videos without headphones

If, on the one hand, the flight attendant Ally Case identifies a lack of civilism associated with the consumption of multimedia content without headphones, the host Christa Treat reinforces the other extreme, that is, when passengers refuse to take off their headphones when the crew passes with drinks or when they provide new instructions.

2 . Block the passage (usually the corridor during boarding)

While it may be tempting to stop in the hallway to reorganize your hand luggage or look for headphones, snacks or a book, flight attendant Aura Martinez says that this creates “transit”.

“ One of the most selfish things passengers do without realizing is to treat the corridor as if it were a personal area to remain standing.” The expert explains that the act of stopping to reorganize the bags “decelerates everything for everyone, including for the crew that is trying to work efficiently.”

Change seat reclining constantly

“There is nothing wrong with reclining the seat when it is allowed,” they point out. During take-off and landing, for example, on-board hosts are constantly reminding passengers to place their seats in a vertical position.

At these times it is mandatory to do so, however, during the flight it must also create stability for you and for those in the back seat. Therefore, you must try to remain in a comfortable position so that you do not have to constantly change your position and disturb the other passengers.
