Jessica Antunes and Rui Figueiredo celebrate this Sunday, September 13, the first year of marriage. CMTV's commentator made a point of declaring herself to her husband on social media, addressing the challenges that the two faced over these 12 months but which, even with ups and downs, was worth the love they felt for each other.

“A year of marriage. And if you ask me what it was like this first year, I'm not saying it was perfect. It was challenging. It was intense. There have been very happy days, but there have also been difficult days of tiredness, doubts and emotions to the skin. And that is exactly what this first year taught me: marriage is not only about beautiful days, photographs, trips, dinners or celebrations, it is above all about what happens when life squeezes, when we are tired, when we do not always have patience, when we need to learn to hear, give in, understand and, above all, choose to stay,” Jessica said.

“ If there's one thing you've taught me this past year, it's that getting married isn't promising that everything will be easy, it's promising that even when it isn't, we'll try to find our way back to each other. And so, today, more than celebrating a year of marriage, I celebrate everything we are after everything we've been through. I want to continue to discover the world at your side, raise our children, build our home, realize our dreams and grow old with you. May love save us, always! I love you very much”, it ended.

It is recalled that Jessica and Rui met at the Big Brother – The Revolution, TVI program that was broadcast from September 13, 2020 to December 31, 2020. The relationship began within the country's most guarded house and remained outside the chambers.

The couple already have two children in common, Isaac, who was born in January 2022, and Benedicta, whom they welcomed in February 2024.
