O coach of the Academic of Viseu today assumed that the team will face a difficult game in the trip to Madeira to face the National, in meeting the 11th day of the Football League, to compete in the Sabbath.
“ It's gonna be a tough game, like everyone else, with different characteristics. Different in tactical terms and with different difficulties. It will take a lot of work to get the three points in Madeira, but we will have to do it,” Bruno Pinheiro said at the press conference.
The coach of the Scholar of Viseu also said that, in the last games, the National is a team “a little more compactly defensive, with a line of five, and, just around there, changes the approach of the game.”.
“ You've just awarded a stop ball goal, so the message is given and we'll have to be focused. The National closed the doors of the goal, but we have to have arguments to bring [the points] to our side”, he added.
One of the “greatest challenges” for the team, he said, will be “to make a goal of running ball”, something that the National in the last days did not grant to any of the “beautiful opponents”, as were Sporting Braga and Arouca.
Regarding the new ‘alvinegro’ coach, João Henriques said: “I believe that the coach, as he will have more working time, can add something else to his team, because at the moment, the priority will have been to stabilize the team defensively, so that he could compete points and now that he has, maybe in our game bring some news. Let’s see.”.
The Academic of Viseu, which adds 20 points and occupies sixth place, moves on Saturday, at 15:30, the house of the National, which adds seven and follows in the 10th position, in a game with arbitration of Pedro Ramalho, of the association of Évora.
