O Facebook Marketplace, one of the most popular and used areas of the social network where users can buy articles put on sale by other people, has just won a new app that will help precisely those who sell their “trails” on the platform.
The new app is called Seller and, as announced in the company's blog post, it is currently present at Apple's online store in the US only for over 18 years and was released to mark Marketplace's 10th anniversary.
“What started with people buying and selling things in Facebook Groups has grown to a destination where there are 430 million articles listed every month at global level and for many it has become an extra income, a small business and a real source of income”, can be read in publication shared by Facebook.
At Seller, those who sell on Facebook Marketplace can have access to all the pages of their articles for sale and also to messages from those who seek to know more about the items in question.
The app allows users to upload photos and, with the help of Meta Artificial Intelligence, Meta AI, can automatically have a title, description and also a price suggestion so that you can put the item on sale as soon as possible.
In addition, Seller also allows you to have performance metrics, indicating the number of views, clicks and other items sold so you know if your articles have a competitive price enough.
Facebook notes that Seller's release is “only the beginning”, advancing that you have plans for “continue evolving the app based on feedback from the sales community”.
