“ Nyou are not banning the media. What he is saying is that he will not give them special access to the White House if they devote themselves to what is actually propaganda,” JD Vance said before traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina, to intervene in a mid-term election campaign rally.

“ We must remember that about 92% of the news that these three media publish about the President of the United States and its Administration are negative,” he argued.

After stating that the media prevented access (CNN, MS NOW and Politico) do not represent the “American people” or the “public opinion” and accuse them of being “propaganda of extreme left”, he asked: “Why would a Republican White House give them special access?”.

Asked if it is considered an attack on freedom of expression, Vance said that “they can still report on the White House of Trump”.

“ You can still get the public reports. You can still, of course, talk to people inside and outside the administration. What the President said was that we will not give them special access inside the White House ", defended.

The main television channels of the United States – ABC, CBS, Fox News and NBC – agreed today to suspend the joint coverage of Trump's acts, after vetoing his colleagues from the three media affected by the ban, decreed Friday.

The tension between the White House and the media also increases due to the lawsuit filed by those affected by the veto – CNN, MS NOW and Politico – against the executive before a federal judge in the Washington District Court.

The action may give rise to legal hearings and allegations by the administration later this week, according to the media affected in a joint statement.
