Zelensky did not specify what partners he was referring to, characterized the attack as “particularly vile” and stressed that receiving secret information from partners about such attacks “helps save lives” and is “one of the most important things.”.

Kyiv continues to rely heavily on Washington for military assistance, including US-made Patriot missile defense systems and secret information on impending Russian attacks.

The United States has the ability to immediately detect Russian ballistic missile launches, and US authorities have already notified Ukraine, allowing it to issue missile alerts to the population and use air defenses against approaching missiles.

As of tonight, Zelensky reported that the Kyiv capital was again attacked by a Russian ballistic missile, and once again “without prior partners,” of which the United States is the most relevant.

The main target of the attack, Zelensky said on the X, were the energy infrastructure, specifically the Thermoelectric Power Plant-4, one of the main of the Ukrainian capital, and “unfortunately” the attack was right, and also a residential building was damaged.

“ These missiles were detected by our system almost on the way to Kyiv,” Zelensky said.

“According to our intelligence service data, the Russians are preparing new ballistic missile launches. The facts show that the Russians do not consider it necessary to comply with what the President of the United States said. Ukraine supported the ceasefire in energy infrastructure. Russia is targeting another power station and the lives of our population,” he said.
