Dthose teenagers were arrested by the U.S. authorities for allegedly planning an attack on a high school in California, United States.
According to U.S. Today, who quotes Corona police, the two 15-year-old teenagers who attended different schools would be planning a shooting.
In a statement, the police said that on October 6, “the FBI notified the Corona Police Department that it had identified communications on social media related to a possible threat to Corona High School.”.
“ A joint investigation led to the immediate arrest of a student of 15 of Corona High School ", pointed out.
They added that, during the investigation, a second suspect, a 15-year-old Norco High Schol student, was identified.
“ The evidence gathered showed that the two suspicions spent several months researching school shootings and discussing how they could carry out a possible attack on Corona High School at a future date not yet specified,” the authorities explained, noting that “communications revealed that suspicions discussed methods for obtaining weapons but that they had not yet been able to do so.” In the searches carried out, the police found weapons.
Both teenagers are suspected of conspiracy to commit murder.
To US Today, a police source said that the element that would be motivating the attack could be some kind of revenge.
