“ A oZON Bank application is not available on Google Play, but all previously downloaded applications continue to work as usual,” said the company’s press service, quoted by the Russian agency TASS.
According to this digital trading platform, “on the bank’s website are the application installation instructions, it is also possible to use the web application and access the bank’s personal account via the browser”.
OZON stressed that Western sanctions imposed on the 21st EU sanctions package “do not affect the bank’s activities”.
“ Customers continue to make payments, transfers and other operations in Russia, all financial resources are safe,” he concluded.
On the same line, the Russian digital payment application Yandex Pay was removed from the App Store, Apple's app store, reported today by the US technology company.
“Yandex Pay is no longer available in the App Store, don’t worry, your money is not in danger, you can continue to use our services,” wrote the platform on your Telegram channel.
The technology company stressed that the most important thing is “not to delete the application” of the mobile phone, since “it continues to work as before, but for the time being it will not be possible to reinstall or update it”.
