O WhatsApp released a new update for the iOS version of the message app, which introduces a search shortcut for messages. In this way, users who want to search for specific messages in conversations and channels will no longer have to enter menus.

So far, if you wanted to search for a message in a WhatsApp conversation, you would have to enter the conversation information and choose the search option. With this update, a shortcut appears at the top of the conversation that allows you to search faster.

This new feature is currently being made available with the 26.36.74 update of the WhatsApp app for iOS and, given the gradual way these updates are released, you can reach users at different times.

Note that it is not yet known when this update will be available to all users of WhatsApp, so we will still have to wait for news regarding the Android version.
