He barricaded himself inside with two kitchen knives. You've been arrested

Um 48-year-old man was arrested by the Public Security Police (PSP), last October 30, in Amadora, for the crime of domestic violence. 

In a statement sent to the essays this Tuesday, PSP explains that it was triggered “to a residence, where a woman would be screaming for help”. 

On the spot, the agents were approached by the victim’s son “who reported that the suspect, mother’s partner, was barricaded inside the dwelling, with two kitchen knives”. 

The PSP also points out that, while preparing to enter the dwelling, “the suspect left the residence with a knife in each hand and went to the police”, having been “ordered to drop the knives”. Order that the suspect “acquired”.

Later, he was arrested and the two knives were seized by the agents.

The PSP also found that the suspect, who lived with the victim and his son, “came to the drunk house and started a discussion for no apparent reason, destroying several objects of housing”. 

When the companion’s son came home, “the suspect armed two knives and threatened both death.” “The victim also reported that similar situations had already occurred, which never came to denounce”, can be read.

The prisoner has already been present at the Court of Justice of the Lisbon District West – DIAP of Amadora, having been applied to it the measure of coercion of preventive imprisonment.
