Sand day-to-day tasks, such as cleaning or tidying the house, can be difficult to complete for the common mortal, imagine for someone with the Hyperactivity and Attention Deficit Disorder (PHDA).

Whoever has this condition usually has a greater difficulty in concentrating on a single task without dispersing attention.

It's not forgetfulness, not so little, laziness. According to some psychologists to Huff Post, the difficulty in completing these tasks, for those with PHDA, has a much more complex explanation known as “paralysis of tasks”.

Andrew Robinson, a Ph.D.A. doctor, categorizes the phenomenon as a executive dysfunction, which can be explained by a metaphorical cry of the brain that says: ‘Get up and do this task’, while there is “some invisible barrier that prevents you”, he adds.

How can footwear become a trigger that “activates” PHDA?

Behind this phenomenon of the brain, there may be a set of factors that feed this deviation of attention, one of which is related to the shoes that you choose daily.

When entering home and barefoot, the body tends to go into “rest mode”, especially when taking off the shoes it wears on the street. Like this practice, also if you wear slippers, for example, you are likely to feel more comfortable and want to spend the rest of the afternoon tucked in on the couch.

However, if you define a footwear suitable for cleaning and only to use at home, may have a higher success rate in finishing them, according to these experts.

No matter the quality of the material or the type of footwear – according to these experts, what really makes a difference is the ritual and psychological association created by the exclusive use of this same footwear inside the house.

Still, if this pair is more robust, as is the case with a pair of sneakers, perhaps, in addition to comfort, it might make you feel more comfortable to “run” to perform these tasks.

To avoid the risks of paralysis of tasks and not accumulating responsibilities, these experts reinforce the idea that it is best to define a specific pair for each type of task – if necessary put labels on these shoes.

By defining “shoes suitable for use at home” you can define a way to combat the paralysis of tasks and perform them at the appropriate times.

Do you have PHDA? Here are your three superpowers (which are exhausting for others)

It's not just hyperactivity! Psychologists reveal that people with ADHD are distinguished from others by some “skills” and skills that can make a difference in daily life. Do you have PHDA? Then you can do these three things better than anyone!
