Dpaul Walker died in 2013 and at the age of only 40, following a car accident, Vin Diesel assumed an important role in the life of Meadow Walker, the artist's daughter.
Diesel says that the presence of the young woman in his life is “a true blessing” and that, for example, on Father’s Day, she is the first to call him.
“She’s the first person to call me on Father’s Day,” said the actor to Entertainment Tonight during an event celebrating the 25th anniversary of action movies “She is the first to appear at all my children’s birthday parties,” she said.
Vin Diesel is the father of 18-year-old Hania, Vincent of 16, and Pauline of 11, with his longtime companion Paloma Jiménez. “I'm very grateful to have you in my family's life. She's a true cousin to my angels. I would give my life for her”, he still confided.
When Paul Walker died, Meadow was only 15 and his father's friend, who is his godfather, was present at all important times as for example to accompany her to the altar when she married Louis Thornton-Allan in 2021, and of whom she divorced in 2024.
Since Paul's death, the 27-year-old girl has done everything she can to keep her father's legacy alive. In 2023, when he turned 50, the young woman wrote that he is her “guardian angel.”.
