Um of the greatest challenges of those who have an induction plate is to clean it correctly. However, as the Website Simply Recipes underlines, there is a very simple way to do so.
The method in question is cheap, environmentally friendly and resorts to an unbeatable cleaning pair already used by grandparents: lemon and sodium bicarbonate.
The correct way to clean the stove with lemon and baking soda
For maintenance cleaning (the one done on a daily basis when the dirt is not very curly) just half lemon and sodium bicarbonate to leave the induction plate as new.
Lemon, worth noticing, is rich in citric acid, a powerful degreasing. It works better than cleaning vinegar, being a powerful tool when it comes into direct contact with sodium bicarbonate.
Here's what you should do:
1. Spray the entire surface of the stove after it cools, with a multi-purpose cleaning product. Clean the remains of food or fat;
2. Rub the plate with half a lemon and then squeeze the juice over it. Sprinkle with sodium bicarbonate;
3. Let it go for five minutes;
4. With a kitchen sponge rub the dirtiest areas. Remove lemon juice and sodium bicarbonate. For harder stains use a kitchen scraper;
5. Wipe the surface of the stove with a moist sponge and end with a dry microfiber cloth to pull the gloss.
For very difficult stains, such as melted cheese or leftover food, let the mixture act for longer and use the scraper.
