A Eurowings, a subsidiary of Lufthansa, reported today that it will resume direct flights to Dubai from the German cities of Berlin, Stuttgart and Cologne/Bona in the coming winter season.
The conflict between the United States and Iran aggravated air traffic constraints in the Middle East, with the closure or temporary limitation of air spaces and the diversion of routes, leading several companies to cancel or suspend flights.
In the first half of the year, Lufthansa, a candidate for TAP, lost EUR 542 million against a net profit of EUR 127 million in the same period.
