ANDthis event, promoted by the Teatro Experimental de Lagos (TEL), takes place in the interior of Algarve, in a set of cork oaks located in the parish of Bensafrim, in that municipality of the district of Faro, and will include 35 workshops of art and nature, 21 shows and two conversations, the organization, in a statement.

By promoting sustainability, nature and art through the crossing “between tradition and contemporary creation”, the Emraizart will include activities that “foment artistic awareness” with the school community and families.

The festival “is a real invitation to experience, to conviviality, to the connection and interaction between generations, always with nature as a backdrop”, reads in the note.

The programming of the Emraizart gathers national and international artists in Lagos, as well as emerging artists from the region, mostly based on performing arts for childhood and youth.

With circus equipment, traditional games and picnic area, it is intended to provide an opportunity “where to play, live, experience and relax together in an idyllic setting”, the organization highlights.

During the weekdays, children from schools, institutions and social projects will have the opportunity to attend shows and itinerant animation, as well as participating in circus workshops, creative construction, permaculture and theater.

“ The objective is to generate positive experiences that stimulate the cultural consumption of new generations and the taste for outdoor activities ", stresses the TEL.

On the weekend of October 10th and 11th, the festival opens its doors to families, with a training for young people and adults dedicated to “Dramaturgy for Childhood” and another subject to the theme “Dramatic Body Mimo”.

Over these two days, talks are also planned, world music with DJ Kali, circus shows, mime and physical theater, and concerts with the Sambambas group.

Three creation processes will also be presented resulting from artistic residences held at TEL, within the framework of the “Bora Cultura”, a program of that cultural association of Lagos dedicated to supporting the creation and development of local artists.

The Emraizart, which in the sixth edition highlights multiculturality, “accepts languages accessible to all, which favor the body, movement and presence as a universal form of communication, betting on the idea that the coexistence between differences can and must be celebrated”, concludes the organization.

Daily tickets for October 10th and 11th have a cost of 12 euros for adults and seven euros for children aged three to 12 years.
