O agreement, announced during the official visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Paris, covers both the AI infrastructure and the development of advanced models and its application in regulated sectors, according to Mistral.

One of the objectives is to develop state-of-the-art models optimized for Arabic, as well as specific solutions in cybersecurity and voice technologies.

Humain was created in 2025 and is chaired by Mohamed bin Salman himself. This company aims to implement the health strategy of AI and is linked to the sovereign fund of Saudi Arabia, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), which manages more than 900,000 million dollars.

The company is building its own AI infrastructure in the country and has already closed deals with technological giants such as Nvidia, AMD, xAI, Amazon and Qualcomm, according to the French economic diary Les Echos.

The project is aligned with Mistral's bet on the sovereign AI: systems in which data, models, computing capacity and operations remain under the control of the client.

According to Mistral, sovereign AI can be applied in areas such as finance, industry, telecommunications, cybersecurity and public administrations, where data security and control are particularly sensitive.

In February last year, Mistral launched a model oriented towards Asia and the Middle East, and developed the Magisterial Medium, with capabilities in Arabic.
