Game start with goal, better was it impossible?: “Best start in the stage and game was impossible. We went in with a goal. We could have done more, but we have to realize that we only have two days to work. The important thing was to win, Bernardo Fontes makes a fine defense, we could have dilated the marker more, but it seems like a fair result. The most important thing was to win and we did it.”
Team responded well to the new coach: “Since we arrived, we have felt a great opening of the players. For our part, there was concern to ask for simple and objective things, so that the 11 would think the same. As a team we'll be stronger. I am pleased with their surrender, that we have not suffered goals and that we have beaten this adversary. I think we must give credit for this victory.”
Does this victory raise the level of ambition in competition?: “Now it’s time to think about the game with the National. It’s very important, we have to earn points to climb the Portuguese championship table.”
