Pthey 15h40 (continental time) did not register cancellations on the connections between the Portuguese continental airports and Charleroi airport in Belgium, according to the site of ANA-Aeroportos de Portugal.
Internationally, among the cancelled flights today are links to Madrid, Ibiza, Palma, Venice, Prague, Manchester, Stockholm, Tirana and Palermo, while on Thursday morning flights to Barcelona, Valencia, Helsinki, Budapest and Pisa will be cancelled.
The strike will begin at 9 p.m. ( continental Portugal time) today and will be repeated for 24 nights, until 10 October, between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.
The strike was called after the failure of the negotiations between the trade unions and the leadership of the Belgian public company Skeyes responsible for air navigation services, on compensation for night work, with the controllers of Charleroi claiming the same bonuses as colleagues at Liège airport.
