A vice President of PSD Leonor Beauty said today that his party is available for dialogue, including on the lease regime, and as interested as the President of the Republic in doing more in several areas.

Leonor Beauty, who spoke at the Palace of Belém, at the end of an audience with the President of the Republic on social cohesion, stressed the feasibility of the proposal of the State Budget for 2027 in general by “five parties” – with votes in favor of PSD and CDS-PP and abstentions of PS, PAN and JPP – as “a relevant moment” of interparty understanding.

On the proposal for legislative authorisation to revise the lease regime, the first vice president of the PSD stated: “ It is currently under discussion in the speciality of the Assembly of the Republic and we have repeatedly been saying publicly that we are available to talk to the parties about their content.”.

Asked, next, if there have already been contacts with the PS on this bill, Leonor beauty has given the floor to the parliamentary leader and secretary-general of the PSD, Hugo Soares, who replied that in “everything that concerns ongoing negotiations in Parliament makes no comment”.
