Odukes of Sussex returned to the United Kingdom after six years living in the United States. Meghan and Harry, as well as their children, Archie and Lilibet, are now beginning life in the prince's country.
Although the relationship between the couple and the royal family was very tense in 2016, when the two began dating, things were much quieter.
King Charles and Queen Camilla, for example, loved knowing that the actress was in love with dogs, said Harry in the book “In the Shadow”. Also in this work it is written that his cousin Eugenie “hung Meghan as if they were sisters”, one can read.
The only person Harry and Meghan had a more embarrassing encounter with was their uncle, André Mountbatten-Windsor.
In the pages of “In the Shadow”, Harry described the occasion when Meghan met his aunt, Sarah Ferguson, in the former royal residence, Royal Lodge. André, besides Eugenie, Jack Brooksbank and Sarah's friend, was also present. Queen Elizabeth II was also there.
“ After 20 minutes, Grandma announced she needed to go. My uncle Andre sitting next to her and holding her suitcase began to accompany her to the exit. Eugenie went with her too. Before she got to the door, Grandma looked back to say goodbye to Jack and Fergie's friend. She stared at Meghan, waved and gave a warm smile. [...]
Harry realized, however, that Meghan had not understood who his uncle André was.
“Meghan asked me something about the Queen’s assistant. I asked who she was talking about. That man holding the bag. That man who walked her to the door. That wasn't her assistant. Who was that? That was the second son, André”, you wrote it.
