Um 24-year-old man was arrested by the Territorial Command of Aveiro of the Republican National Guard (GNR), last Monday, October 26, for the crime of drug trafficking, in the municipality of Aveiro.
In notified published today, GNR points out that the arrest “resulted from an information gathering action aimed at drug trafficking activity, being the arrested approached in possession of various illicit material”.
Following the police action, the note continues, “a personal magazine and two searches (one house and one vehicle) were also carried out”, and two precision scales, 5.790 euros in cash, 7,611 doses of hashish resin and hashish packaging material were seized.
The prisoner was present at the Aveiro Judicial Court for the application of the coercion measures.
The Republican National Guard ends by saying that “it keeps constantly its criminal investigation valences focused on combating drug trafficking, particularly in the activity of direct sale to the consumer, which, by its addition, potentiates another type of crime as a source of funding”.
