A 67-year-old man tried to shoot a “old family” in Viseu, in a context of growing family and neighborhood conflict. PJ already stopped the suspect.

A Judicial Police (PJ) arrested, this week, out of flagrant offense, in Oliveira de Frades, district of Viseu, a suspect, indicted by the practice of crime of murder in the form attempted, using firearm.
The facts date back to the early morning of May 13, recalls the PJ, in a statement sent this Thursday, October 22, to the News to Minutes.
The victim, who is an “old family member of the suspect”, entered the space at home and saw the car being hit with a “shooting shotgun”.
According to the inspectors, the facts occurred in a “framework of growing conflict, family relations and neighborhood”.
Now, following home searches, the unsub saw the firearm used in the crime being seized, as well as 45 ammo.
The 67-year-old detainee has already been present the first judicial interrogation and will now await trial in custody.
The inquiry is titled by the DIAP of Viseu.
