Orepsol's profits skyrocketed 325% by September and reached 5,006 million euros, due to the effect of rising crude oil prices and derivatives in the value of the stock.

According to the company today to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the adjusted net result reached 5,419 million in the first nine months of the year, an increase of 184.2% over the same period.

In the profit report, the multinational says that the net profit of the first nine months of the year incorporates a positive equity effect of EUR 943 million, in contrast to the negative impact of 478 million in the same period of the previous year.

In view of complex market conditions resulting from conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, Repsol allocated around EUR 3,700 million in the first nine months of 2026 to increase stocks and ensure continuity of supply.

In addition, it allocated about 100 million to additional discounts for customers in gas stations.

As for the performance of business by area, the adjusted net operating and production output (upstream) reached EUR 1,088 million by September, an increase of 28.6% over the first nine months of 2025.

In the case of the adjusted net profit of the industrial segment, the amount was EUR 3,668 million, driven by higher refining margins — compared to the 540 million recorded in the same period, when the result was negatively impacted by interruptions in the supply of electricity.

The customer segment, which represents 11% of the adjusted net result, showed an annual increase of 4.6%, reaching EUR 613 million, while the low carbon generation area achieved an adjusted net result of 43 million, an increase of 23%.

The area of exploration and production reached an average production of 557,000 equivalent barrels of oil/day between January and September.

Repsol also indicates that, in Venezuela, the company's priorities continue to contribute to the increase in production in the country, as well as to the monetization of the volumes produced by the company, with significant advances in Petroquiriquire, Petrocarabobo and Cardón IV throughout this year.

In addition, Repsol reports that it monetized three shipments of crude oil from Venezuela as a payment for the gas produced and expects to receive two more shipments later this year.

Repsol intends to allocate between 30% and 40% of the operational cash flow to shareholders' remuneration, including dividends and repurchase of shares, by 2028.

Thus, it launched a third stock buyback program, with a net maximum investment of 950 million, whose execution is expected to take place before the end of the year.

Last Monday, the second buy-back programme of EUR 500 million was completed.

For 2026, the cash dividend is EUR 1,051 gross per share, an increase of approximately 8% over 2025.

The company paid, in January, the first dividend in cash, of 0,5 euros gross/action and, in July, the second, of 0,551 euros/action.

A payment of more than EUR 0,56 per share to shareholders is also foreseen in January 2027.

In the accumulated year Repsol’s activity generated a tax contribution of EUR 10,500 million, 72% of which in Spain (7,500 million).
