António José Seguro assured today that he will not give up “dialogue and common sense” with regard to housing demonstrations, marked by the police charge against demonstrators in Lisbon and Porto.
“The right to demonstration is a mark of our freedom”, it began by affirming the head of state, adding that the “violence is not part of the portuguese democratic culture”.
“I will not give up dialogue and common sense,” he said, saying that this will remain a posture.
