Meeting summary: “The Benfica had a very strong entrance, we were waiting. They came from a less good result. They surprised us in the inner game, which they explored, many third-man dynamics, which was creating difficulties for us and it took us a while to meet in the game. Up to Benfica's goal, the domain was obvious. Then we grew up, had more ball and gained confidence. In the second part, we managed to stop the issue of indoor gambling, which created difficulties for us. We managed to have more ball, make more of our game and share well the second part.”
Deciding moment: “The goal of Benfica ends up sentenced and caused us to go down, but until then the game was open and to be played. I think the goal ends up in a moment of injustice, felt that Victoria was on top and could reach the draw.”
Evolution of Victory: “We are absolutely on the right track, we are building a team practically from scratch since the beginning of the season, we have games where we were superior and we deserved to have won. We must insist on our process, improving what is not so good. I believe we will give a very strong response at this level in the Cup of Portugal and then before the Maritime.”
