A Meta announced this week the launch of Muse, a new Artificial Intelligence assistant who was designed to perform tasks such as reading emails, scheduling trips and filling out documents instead of the user.
The Muse launch was announced on tuesday, the 8th, and first arrived in the USA, being available for Android and iOS phones as well as the web version. According to axios websiteMuse is available free of charge and also has two monthly subscription plans: one for $20 and one for $100.
The most interesting thing about the release of assistant Muse is the British band Muse, who was forced to change the name of its official social media pages.
It turns out that the pages of the British band – which were previously simply called Muse – now have to specify that it is a musical group, adding “band” to the end of the handles.
The change can be seen in the pages of Facebook, Instagram and X muse's assistant Muse da Meta won his own pages in Facebook, Instagram and X. It should be noted, however, that even with the change of name the British band retained almost 3 million followers.
Naturally, Muse fans were not satisfied with the change and showed displeasure in social media, pointing responsibility to Meta's co-founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.
“Mark Zuckerberg destroyed the brand of my favorite band, so I decided to block the fake Muse.”, he wrote a social network user X. “Zuckerberg took the handle ‘muse’ off Instagram for its new Artificial Intelligence thing and now the famous band with almost 3 million followers that has been active for about 25 years has to use ‘museband’”, you noticed another dissatisfied fan.
