Dit was about three months, but finally there is a definitive result of the Formula 1 Monaco GP, after the decision of the International Court of Appeal of the FIA this Friday (4 September).

We remember very briefly what happened: on June 7, Pierre Gasly (Alpine/Mercedes) cut the finish line in third placebut two five-second penalties they made him fall to seventh. Isack Hadjar (Red Bull/Ford) inherited the lowest step of the podium.

Unconformed, alpine appealed, with the submission of relevant new evidence, and did you get that the penalties were cancelled. Thus, a few days later, the podium was returned to Pierre Gasly. But this time, McLaren and Red Bull didn't let themselves stay and they've appealed the International Court of Appeal of the AIF – in a case which culminated in a hearing at the end of August.

This Friday, the decision of the body, which considers the approaches admissible and declared the validity of the two penalties five seconds imposed on Pierre Gasly. This means that the results have to consider them again, what throws the gaul to the seventh position.

For other French gaudio – Isack Hadjar, who thus recovers the third post who even celebrated at the podium ceremony in Monte Carlo and gets three more points. It continues eighth in the championship, now with 20 more points than Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls/Ford) who is behind you.

The Pierre Gasly, lose nine points in the face of those the third rank would give him. Nothing changes his tenth position in the championship, but he's now 16 points from Lawson.

Also benefited were Oscar Piastri (McLaren/Mercedes), Liam Lawson and his teammate Arvid Lindblad, who are ranked in this order between the fourth and sixth positions of the Monaco GP.
