New Apple Watch will be able to listen and record your conversations

A pair of new iPhones – which include iPhone 18 Pro and the foldable iPhone Duo – Apple presented this Wednesday, the 12th, a new generation of its smart watches: the Apple Watch Series 12 and the Apple Watch Ultra 4.

The great novelty Apple has been promoting has been the fact that the clock is now able to record the heart rate every 5 seconds, which allows it to remain informed about any problems that may arise and to draw more conclusive data on users' health.

There is another news that, however, was also spoken by Apple and that will allow Apple Watch Series 12 (or Apple Watch Ultra 4) to listen to the conversations that you are having throughout the day. The goal is to sum up conversations with a feature that was called Siri Recap and that takes advantage of Apple's Artificial Intelligence – Apple Intelligence.

Siri Recap will be able to make a summary of the various conversations, generate a title and also point out the main points of conversation to know, in general, what was said. Apple also presented Live Rewind, a feature that allows users to listen to the last 15 seconds of their conversations, and that is enough to press the Digital Crown of the watch twice.

In addition to conversations, the Apple Watch Series 12 and the Apple Watch Ultra 4 can also detect sounds of sirens, alarms, bells and crying babies, displaying a notification whenever the user cannot hear.

Aware of the privacy issues these features raise, Apple has ensured that conversations are not stored, that audio is inaccessible and that participants in these conversations are not identified. Moreover, the company has advanced that the conversations recorded by Live Rewind will feature end-to-end encryption.

Both Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 will be officially released on September 18, both of which are already available in pre-sale. The price of Apple Watch Series 12 starts at 459 euros, while Apple Watch Ultra 4 can be purchased from 909 euros.
