The rumors that have circulated have pointed to Apple's plans to launch the AirPods Ultra at the end of 2027, indicating that the waiting pace for the launch was related to the launch of the new generation of Siri with Artificial Intelligence to make the most of the capabilities of these new wireless earphones.
Remember that, with the help of the cameras, AirPods Ultra could have access to information in the user involvement and to which the new Siri would have access to be more useful to users during their interactions.
It is possible that only the development of AirPods Ultra has been suspended as long as Apple is focused on the capabilities of the new Siri, which means that it is still in Apple's plans to launch these new wireless earphones into the market.
