“Tlet's talk. The Huthis called us [...] and they don’t want us to attack them,” said the American President at a press conference during his two-day visit to Ireland.
Donald Trump said he also talked to Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, and that despite the escalation of hostilities in the region, “everything will end well.”.
The Huthis offensive caused Saudi Arabia, the largest exporter of crude oil, to be in a delicate situation, as the Strait of Ormuz has been blocked by Tehran since the start of the war in the Middle East.
On the other hand, this week its oil infrastructure was the target of an attack by the Huthis with drones and missiles.
