Pope Leo XIV will be operated on nodule in the lung

O Pope Leo XIV will be submitted to surgery after a nodule has been detected in his lung “in the early stages”.

“ Recently, during some control tests, the doctors detected a circumscribed nodule in my lung. I will be operated in the coming days”, announced his own to the faithful gathered in St Peter’s Square during the Angelus prayer.

The lesion is in an early and well-located stage, also mentioned the high pontiff, quoted by the Italian press.
