O show, the first one that the José Alvalade Stadium hosts since 2009, is scheduled for June 5, 2027, was announced at the end of the race, which began in Eduardo VII Park and whose destination, the ‘house’ of Sporting, had not been previously announced.
The race “This is not a 5print”, with a course of about five kilometers, was announced as including the revelation of a surprise in the goal.
The revenue of the registrations, which were soon exhausted, reverts in favor of SOS Children Villages, “contributing to support the work developed by the institution with children and young people in a vulnerable situation”.
Plutonio, the stage name of Ricardo de Azevedo, edited the first album “History of my life” in 2013. They followed “Black and red” (2016), “Sacrifice: Blood, Tears, Sweat” (2019) — viewed as a debut, because it happened in a moment of great success among fans, as Lusa told in 2019 — and “Ordem & Progress” (2023).
The latest album of the rapper, “Letter of Alforria”, was edited in 2024.
Last year, Plutonio sold out two dates at MEO Arena in Lisbon, the largest Portuguese showroom, now pointing to a football stadium.
The former stadium of Alvalade, which the current one replaced, was the stage of several concerts, starting in the 1980s, having welcomed artists and bands such as Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones, U2, Pink Floyd, Guns N’ Roses, Tina Turner, Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Depeche Mode, Metallica and GNR.
The new Alvalade Stadium, inaugurated on August 6, 2003 and with capacity for about 52,000 people, also hosted concerts, but much less than the previous one, with the last of the AC/DC, taking place on June 3, 2009.
