O President of the Republic, António José Seguro, convened the Council of State for November 2.

The information was published on the Presidency's website this Friday, which also addressed social cohesion.

“The President of the Republic has called upon the Council of State on November 2, at 3pm, in the Palace of Bethlehem, having as theme social cohesion”, read in the note.

The most recent Council of State called for Insurance – and the first since he was elected to office, took place on 17 April this year, and then the theme was “security and defense”.

It should be noted that on Wednesday, the head of state invited parties with parliamentary seats to individual hearings on social cohesion to hold on 29 october, the day following the vote on the State Budget for 2027 in general.
