The parliamentary leader of the PS today pointed out Fernando Alexandre as a candidate for the worst Minister of Education since April 25, considering it scandalous that there are hundreds of students without placement in public education.

“ Nthe 21st century, in 2026, it is scandalous that public education leaves hundreds of people out, hundreds of students without access to public education, which is mandatory, is compulsory education ", said Eurico Brilhante Dias, in press conference, at the national headquarters of the PS, in Lisbon.
According to the parliamentary leader of the PS, in view of this situation – which led a group of parents to announce a case against the Ministry of Education – the minister had “the usual answer: he does not take responsibility and investigate schools, school directors and teachers”.
“Someday you will have to take responsibility. We have not yet solved the problem of the mess of the exams and we already have another problem ", criticized.
Eurico Brilhante Dias concluded that Fernando Alexandre “probably applied to be the worst Minister of Education since April 25”.
