PSP of Leiria reports history with Carolina of God. “Make a difference”

Carolina de Deus went up to the stage of the José Lúcio da Silva Theatre in Leiria, on September 11, but before was helped by a PSP agent in the face of some “controtempos” that lived. 

The whole story was told in a publication made on the official Facebook pages of PSP – Leiria District Command.

“God gave him his voice. Leiria gave him the Fidalgo. There are stories that start with a concert and end with a good conversation between friends”, they started by introducing.

“Last weekend, artist Carolina de Deus arrived in Leiria to star in her concert. All set for some quiet days in town... or almost everything. It's just that there were a few setbacks with your personal logistics and missing documentation and that very important need to ensure that everything stayed right so you could take a deep breath, rest and focus on what really mattered: get on stage and sing. That's when, through the streets of Leiria, our main agent Jorge Fidalgo appeared ", reported. 

“Some say it was your guardian angel. We prefer to say it was... police. The main agent Fidalgo did what he would do to anyone he found in a similar situation: he listened, sought to understand the problem and helped in what was within his reach. No capes. No superpowers. Only with what is also part of the mission of being a cop: being present, listening, guiding and helping. But the story didn’t stop here,” they added. 

“ Later, Carolina of God made a point of meeting our agent Fidalgo again to thank him personally and exchange two fingers of conversation. Because sometimes a little gesture of help stays a lot longer than we think. Because being a cop is also this. It's being close. It's helping. It's being a reference in town. It’s making a difference when someone needs it,” they wrote next.

“And, by the way, Carolina... we also “heard” that the Public Security Police were the target of some very beautiful words of yours during your concert. Thank you for coming to thank me. And thank you for reminding us that it is often the little stories that best explain what it means to be at the service of people. In Leiria, we are close”, they shot.
