“ When all students have school, I hope PS apologizes”

The spokesman for the PSD, Sebastião Bugalho, accused the PS of playing “political game” and being increasingly “populist” and hopes that “when all students have school, [Brilliante Dias] will come and apologize to the minister who called the worst minister since April 25”.

Sebastião Bugalho criticized the statements of Eurico Brilhante Dias, concerning the Minister of Education, Fernando Alexandre, who classified as “the worst minister of education candidate since April 25”, because there are still hundreds of students without placement in public education.

In declarations to SIC News, the spokesman of the PSD described as “inenerable” the position of the parliamentary leader of the PS, regretting that the socialists have adopted a “standard” to talk about the government’s action.

“ Every time the PS takes a responsible position on something, at the same press conference comes to say something unspeakable ", defended.

And it goes further. For Sebastião Bugalho it is “ironic” that Brilliant Dias has criticized Fernando Alexandre, in the week in which former socialist minister João Costa assumed responsibility for the results of the PISA.

Although I realize that this is a “political game” on the part of the PS – which tries to maintain a responsible stance, while remaining an opposition – there must be “limits” for the Social Democratic MEP.

“ When the PS comes to make this escabeche [...], it is obviously not true. There are delays in the placement of students, as there is always”, he justified, accusing the socialists of wanting to create an “alarm climate with the Portuguese only by political tactics”, he fired, adding that “the parliamentary leader of the PS insists on exceeding these limits and ends up falling into disbelief”.

“ Every time Dr. Eurico Brilhante Dias says something, the opposite of what he said was going to happen ends up happening,” he said, considering that the problem of the students still not all are placed will be solved.

“ When all compulsory education students in Portugal have access to public school as they should and deserve, I hope that it will come to apologize to the minister who called the worst minister since 25 April ", concluded.

It arrives “there is no way or way out”, just wants to “make noise”

As for the motion of censure of Aquisa to the Government, Bugalho is of the opinion that the party of André Ventura only wants to “make noise”.

“ I think that Enough has entered a period of political verve because there is no way, there is no way out. So you're going to put forward motions of censure, parliamentary committees of inquiry, parliamentary initiatives that you know will be failed just to make noise. He will try to paste the PS with the PSD”, he said, recalling that these parliamentary initiatives only have as one result: “political isolation”.

Increase in fuel? “PS has populist, misleading speech”

As for the increase in fuel prices, the Social-Democratic MEP ensured that the AD Executive did not profit at all and accused the PS of having a populist speech.

“ In Portuguese politics there is always someone more populist than us. The PS with the extremely populist speech it has had on the cost of living and on the increase in fuel prices by saying unstoppable things as the government profits from the fact that fuels are increasing. From the moment the PS has a misleading speech about this, then one cannot complain about the Aquis having a more misleading speech against the PS and the Government ", concluded.

PS points Fernando Alexandre as candidate for worst Minister of Education

The parliamentary leader of the PS today pointed out Fernando Alexandre as a candidate for the worst Minister of Education since April 25, considering it scandalous that there are hundreds of students without placement in public education.
