Othe former tables of the Revolution and the N26 “just launched the Quartz”, which “aims to make heritage management more accessible through artificial intelligence [IA]”.
Technology is born with the support “of a pre-seed financing round of GBP 2.75 million (about EUR 3.2 million), led by Daphni, with the participation of Outward VC and K Fund,” according to the company.
This operation also had the support of investors such as Philippe Gelis, founder of Kantox, and Gilles BianRosa, former ‘Chief Product Officer’ [manufacturer of the product] of N26 and Kraken.
As of today, “Quartz starts the gradual admission of the first users from its waiting list in the UK” and is available for iOS and Android operating systems.
The platform will be made available by invitation and in a phased manner, in a strategy that aims to give priority to the quality of the experience of new members at an early stage, according to the company.
Before founding Quartz, André Silva led the international expansion of the Revolution, being responsible for the growth of the company in markets such as Brazil, India, Mexico, Japan and New Zealand over almost six years.
Mateus Mesquita Alves joined N26 for more than five years, where he led the development of the share investment offer and ETF of the German digital bank.
“ Founded in 2025, Quartz is born from the conviction that access to personalized advice and asset monitoring remains largely reserved for a minority. To respond to this challenge, the company has developed a platform that brings together information on savings, investments, retirement plans and other financial assets, offering users an integrated vision of their assets”, reads the statement.
Through AI, the solution helps each person to monitor their financial situation in a simpler and more informed way, highlighting relevant information according to their objectives and personal context.
Since the beginning of this year, “the company has been testing its solution and is currently monitoring more than 10 million pounds in assets, equivalent to around 11.7 million euros”.
Currently, startup has a team of 10 professionals distributed between London, Barcelona and Porto.
“ Small differences in how money is managed can translate into huge differences in people's lives over time. Our goal is to put more people on the right side of this effect, providing tools and guidance that were historically accessible only to a minority,” said André Silva, co-founder and CEO (CEO) of Quartz, quoted in a statement.
“ For years, the most sophisticated heritage management services have been reserved for a small part of the population. We believe that technology allows changing this paradigm and making the same kind of follow-up available to many more people,” says Mateus Mesquita Alves, co-founder and CPO of Quartz.
