O Tondela and Felgueiras met on Sunday afternoon for a duel to count for the ninth day of the II League, at Stadium João Cardoso, with the victory smiling to the class of the house, in a crazy end for a game with five goals, with a final result of 3-2.

The meeting began to smile at visitors, who first reached the goal through a beautiful finalization of Lucas Duarte, at 20 minutes, when he stretched out to reach the ball to put it on the goal defended by Carlão.

But the answer came a few minutes later, when the advanced veteran Tomané, at age 34, made the goal of the draw to balance the accounts of the game, through the mark of the great penalty, deceiving the guardian Matthew Pasinato.

But the excitement of this first part was not going to stop here, since it was necessary to go to the 45+5 minutes of the match to see one of the teams at a disadvantage, with a flip on the marker to be consummated by the right foot of Hugo Felix, with a strong shot and within the big area.

The resumption after a trip to the locker rooms was quick and effective for Felgueiras, who again moved the opposing networks with eight minutes of the second half, after João Pinto played out – with the bid being nearly five minutes under review and being validated with a margin of zero (yes, he read well) centimeters – and shoot counting to do the 2-2 in the match.

Still, it was even veteran Tomane to save Tondela to conquer the three points, with a crossing at 88 minutes to find the head of the spearhead, which gave Pasinato no chance, in the face of requests for great penalty on the other side of the field, which were not confirmed by the VAR.

With this result, Tondela joins the ‘train’ of the teams that are in the places of the fight for the ascent of division, now adding 15 points in nine games played, while Felgueiras remains in the demotion zone by getting seven points in the II League.

The results (and accounts) of the ninth League Day

At the opening of this day there were victories of Amarante (over FC Porto B, by 2-1), Sporting B (over Leixões, by 1-2), Benfica B (over the Sports of Chaves, by 3-1) and Union of Leiria (over the AVS, by 2-1), as well as a tie without goals between Portimonese and Torreense, before the Vizela had won the three points before the Academic, after triumph by 2-1.

This Sunday, the Lusitânia de Lourosa-Farense will be held at 3:30 p.m. (Hours of Continental Portugal). However, the cloth will only fall on this round on Monday at 6 p.m. at the Municipal Stadium 25 April, which will receive the clash between Penafiel and Feirense.

After the accounts, with this set of results, the Academica, which remains with 15 points, ‘falls’ to the fifth position of the II League, behind Sporting B (which has 21), Lusitânia de Lourosa (which has 18 and less one game performed), Benfica B (which has 17) and Penafiel (which has 16, but will also have to enter the scene).

Right behind are Farense (also with one less match made), Leiria Union and precisely Vizela, all with 14 points in the ‘bagageira’.

“I will always be grateful to Tondela. Training in the I League was very special”

Gonçalo Feio spoke exclusively with Sports to the Minute, in an interview about the journey from the beginning to the current point of his career, passing through Poland and talking about his adventure in Tondela, where he chose not to stay after the demotion.
