Origin of the 48-hour Rule

By Sydney is a TikToker known for trying to boost the goals of her followers and viralize in a short time – the 48-hour rule is a clear example of this.

The content creator stipulated this rule in order to analyze the alignment between goals and behaviors that can really drive them.

If you feel like you're stagnant, there's only one way to understand this: Apply this rule.

The content creator encourages followers to think: “If someone watched your life for two whole days, would you be able to identify your goals only on the basis of your behavior?”

Having said that, if you are looking for financial stability, but do not invest or do nothing to bring these conditions together for a period of 48 hours, you are likely not to prioritize this goal.

The publication's comments show similar impressions: Discomfort and shock.

According to the blog The Every Girl this also turns out to be “the reality of many by spending our days in autopilot, without realizing little habits that go unnoticed and that can hinder our progress. And when we do not realize the standards that hold us, we do not have the opportunity to change them.”.

On the other hand, the 48-hour Rule gives us a practical way to “understand, reflect and realign our daily behavior with the future we say we want,” he adds.

How do we make this mission more accessible to everyone?

Instead of creating a self-trial, this blog suggests using the 48 hours as a “mirror”.

Instead of asking “What do I want to achieve?” ask “What does my behavior show is important to me?” If there is a difference between the two answers, you have a clear indication of what you can adjust. After 48 hours you are likely to feel more motivated or at least also to be walking towards a more disciplined lifestyle.
