Second confirmed to Europe Sources of the Civil Guard, the facts occurred in one of the most affected areas after mass entry, namely El Trampolín and Benítez (areas adjacent to each other), during the last night.

Migrants took advantage of being in a higher position to throw stones at the army although there is no record of personal or material damage.

The 21 migrants were given the option of voluntarily returning to Morocco or testifying before the competent court, since they had no criminal record, and all chose to return to their country, added the same police sources.

The Spanish Troops and Navy Association (ATME) denounced this incident on their social networks and regretted that it should be repeated for the third time in 10 days.

Sources of the association explained to Europa Press that none of the military suffered serious injuries.

More than 70,000 people entered Ceuta illegally between 30 and 31 July, in what the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, described as a “violation of Spain’s territorial integrity” and responsible for the human trafficking mafias that misrepresented a recent sentence on return of migrants arriving in Spain to swim.

More than 90% of the people who illegally entered the Spanish enclave in North Africa, bordering Morocco, left Ceuta on time and in the immediate days, but at least 5,000 remain in the city, including thousands on the streets.

Sánchez considered that Spain and Europe were the target of an attack in Ceuta that used immigration and in which Israel and Russia were also involved, with the amplification in social networks of misinformation related to the event.
