Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva surprised their followers with the last share they made on Instagram. Despite maintaining the privacy of the children, the couple did not fail to show the followers a few moments in the family (which is rare).
The publication was made on the social network by Alejandra Silva, who served to mark the holiday of July 4th, which marks the United States Independence Day, and the actor also shared the same on his page.
“ We are deeply grateful for a life built between two countries, two cultures and so many people we love. Today, we celebrate the bonds that unite us, the family, friendship and everything that reminds us that home is not just a place, but the people we keep in our hearts. Happy July 4 to our family and our friends throughout the United States”, wrote in the legend of the images.
Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva, remember, are parents of two seven-year-old Alexander children, and James, six, who are also present in the images and can see in the publication below.
The actor is still the father of Homer, 26, the result of his relationship with former girlfriend Carey Lowell, and Alejandra Silva is the mother of 13-year-old Albert Friedland, the result of his relationship with ex-boyfriend Govind Friedland.
“We often talk about migrants as if they were different from us”
Remember that recently Richard Gere spoke openly about migration, saying that “we often talk about migrants as if they were different from us, as if they belonged to another category of human beings”.
The actor was presenting an initiative on migration from the Centre for Fundamental Rights of Hertie School and the Gere Foundation in Berlin. At the time, Richard Gere recalled that no one is exempt from a family history where someone has traveled “for security, opportunities, dignity or simply a better future”.
“ Migration is often discussed through statistics, border policies, election campaigns, or pure and simple racism and manipulation. But before any of these things, it's a deeply human history. It's about people. About dignity ", defended still.
