O head of Iranian diplomacy countered what he classified as the “myth” that Iran “is defenseless” to the data released on Monday by the U.S. Department of Defense, which recognized 18 dead and over 400 wounded military personnel, as well as dozens of aircraft and hundreds of buildings on destroyed or damaged U.S. bases.

The Iranian minister has ensured that Tehran will release “everything in due time” on the effects of attacks against US positions.

“ For those who have told lies about Iran, the situation will not be pleasant,” Araghchi added.

The statements arise after the Pentagon's supervisory body released the first report on the losses suffered during the American operation "Epic Fury", which began in late February.

The 44-page document points to “strategic weaknesses” of ammunition and estimates the costs of war by almost EUR 29 billion, without accounting for expenditure since June 29.
