“ The difficult Iranian nation wants to close a deal quickly and desperately. I will decide whether or not the United States will choose to be involved, an idea for which we remain open.”, declared the American President in a publication on Truth Social Network.

In another message at Truth Social, Trump insisted that his offensive prevented Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and predicted that “oil will fall apart as soon as the military conflict with Iran is over,” something that he said “will not take long” to happen.

The United States has been in a war against Iran for more than half a year which has not achieved the stated goal of overthrowing the regime of the Ayatollahs and which threatens to penalise Republicans in the legislative elections on November 3 because of the increase in the price of oil resulting from the blockade of the Strait of Ormuz.

Washington and Tehran maintained numerous rounds of talks to end the conflict and even signed a memorandum of understanding in June, but ceasefires were broken after cross-attacks in the Persian Gulf.

The American President also stated on his social network that oil is flowing through the Strait of Ormuz thanks to the United States and considered that the other countries of the world should “refund the United States” for this, as they “did not provide any help” during the war.

In view of the information published by the press about the concern among US military commandos with the shortage of ammunition for the conflict, Trump wrote in Truth Social that “the United States is producing more sophisticated weapons” than ever in its history.

“ Our defense factories operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” wrote the President, who highlighted the production of Patriot missiles, THAAD defense systems and Tomahawk.
