O American President Donald Trump announced Monday that he will offer a reward of one million dollars (about EUR 894,700) to anyone who denounces any fraud in the mid-term elections on November 3, or in previous elections.

“Anyone who denounces electoral fraud in past elections, or in the upcoming mid-term elections of 2026, will receive a payment of $1,000,000 after the arrest and conviction of those responsible for such fraud,” said the Republican in a publication on his social network, Truth Social.

Trump continues without recognizing his defeat in the 2020 presidential election for Democrat Joe Biden and often claims that the election “was stolen”, although there is no evidence of a fraud that has changed the outcome.

On Saturday, after voting in advance in Florida, the Republican leader told journalists: “I applied and won in 2016, and I also won in 2020, but it didn’t happen that way. They were manipulated elections, but I won by millions of votes”.

On July 16, Trump made a statement to the nation on prime time, in which he insisted on his accusations about the 2020 elections, again without presenting blunt evidence of alleged fraud.

In the current mid-term elections, one third of the Senate (high chamber of Congress) and all 435 seats of the House of Representatives (low chamber) will be renewed.

The Republican Party holds tight majorities in both chambers.

The polls favour the Democrats, who would have a great chance of taking control of the lower chamber.

In view of the prospects, about 70% of Americans do not believe that Trump will accept the results if Republicans lose the election, according to a poll last week from The Washington Post, ABC News and Ipsos.

Trump says that elections in Brazil were fraudulent (without showing evidence)

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said today that the presidential elections in Brazil were fraudulent, but did not present evidence or evidence of irregularity.
