With this disbursement of EUR 3.3 billion (ME), the Community executive has already sent almost EUR 15 000 million to Ukraine this year.
The Ukraine Support Loan is divided into a total of 30 thousand ME for budgetary assistance and 60 thousand ME for defence in the period 2026-2027.
The Ukraine Support Loan is a limited resource loan to help meet Ukraine's funding needs for 2026 and 2027 and is implemented in the framework of enhanced cooperation with Kiev.
In a statement, the EU executive also points out that “the military advantage of Ukraine depends on the rapid availability of critical products in the necessary quantities and at very short deadlines”, warning that “it remains crucial to accelerate deliveries in the EU by reducing stocks, redefining order priorities and increasing production”.
