News to Minutes
ANDlast march was revealed the new Renault Bridger Concept – a small urban adventurer SUV that anticipates a future production model designed in India for that and other markets that should arrive in 2027.
AND it may even come to Europe, but in other ways. According to Autocar, Dacia is considering bringing it to Europe as part of the electrification efforts of its range.
Also in March, the romanian insignia announced that it will introduce four electric models by 2030, without specifying which ones. The British publication mentioned above writes that, for one of them, the idea went through an electric Striker, but it was already abandoned.
So, will now be under consideration a European version of Bridger – and Renault Group Executive Director François Provost admitted the arrival of the model to “other markets” in the future. In the European region, you would find rivals like Citroën ë-C3.
Small SUV but robust look
Bridger Concept is a segment B SUV less than four meters long based on the RGMP Small platform that proposes a multi-energy approach. There's a 100 percent electrical variant.
It has cubic lines and, although under the name Renault, it has an easily associated design with Dacia. Moreover, in India the usual Romanian brand models name the French house of whose group Dacia is part.
It reminds models such as Suzuki Jimny, with robust appearance and a soil height of 200 mm. There are pronounced wheel arches and, behind it, an alternate wheel gives an appearance that refers to the all-terrain – that is, we are facing a small urban adventurous SUV. Promise a 400-litre trunk and a knee space in the back row in the 200mm segment.
