The University of Aveiro approved the Reference for Evaluation of Learning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (IA), which will serve as a guiding framework for the pedagogical integration of these tools in teaching, today revealed academic source.

“ O framework supports teachers in the decision on when, how and why to integrate the AI, ensuring the credible demonstration of skills by students ", stresses Vice-Rector Sandra Soares.
The institution, it explains, adopts a “learning-focused approach, refusing a prohibition or detection logic and promoting intentional, transparent and aligned use of the skills to be assessed”.
The application of the reference has resources on the educational innovation page of the institution, providing practical guidance, models for pedagogical dossiers, utterances and frequent questions.
The strategy brings together the practice community “IA... let’s talk”, with more than 120 teachers, and the AcademIA AU program, which conducted 31 ‘workshops’ with 752 participants.
