Swill be known already next week the new Yangwang Altior, of BYD's luxury brand. This Tuesday (October 27) was released a teaser of the upcoming model.
Although there are no technical details, it is possible to see a silhouette that refers to an executive berlin and with features that resemble Rolls-Royce vehicles – such as doors that appear to be opening in opposite directions, monolithic proportions or elongated hood. The presentation will be in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) on November 5.
In addition to being a luxury brand, Yangwang also proposes the latest BYD technologies, being at the top of the Chinese conglomerate sub-brand hierarchy.
“Unprecedented technology”?

And the CEO of the brand, Zheng Yu, promised on social networks “innovative and unprecedented technology“. It remains to be seen what technology there will be, but one thing seems certain: the car will have LiDAR mounted on the roof.
In the same publication, the leader showed images of a camouflaged prototype, one of which appears near an ultra-fast BYD charger – which may or may not indicate an automobile at least partially electrified.
According to Car News China, which cites Chinese organs, the luxury model may be five and a half meters long and more than 3.3 meters apart from axes – in line with what is seen in Mercedes-Maybach Class S, for example. The price could exceed two million yuan, something like 269 million euros.
