Nthe document entitled “The future is for everyone”, the creator of Facebook defends the wide distribution of ‘superintelligence’ to empower people.
Simultaneously with the publication of the 14-page manifesto, Meta released the Muse Glimmer, an open source version of its most powerful AI model.
In his manifesto, Zuckerberg argues that the notion that AI is so dangerous that the only safe way is an extreme concentration of power is problematic.
In this sense, it implicitly criticizes the approaches of rival companies such as Anthropic and OpenAI, which have called for rigorous controls on technology.
According to the founder of the Meta, innovation, not automation, will be the biggest contribution of ‘superintelligence’.
The manifesto argues that an excessive intervention or any policy that delays the launch of American models could pose a significant risk to the US leadership in the face of foreign models, allowing regimes like China to take the lead.
In the face of the sector’s most catastrophic speeches, Zuckerberg predicts that a widely distributed ‘superintelligence’ will generate more jobs in the future, not less.
The creator of Facebook predicts that the economy will become more entrepreneurial, as it will be significantly easier to create companies without the need to raise large amounts of capital.
